The Farm 58 STory

From Vision To Reality
A Place Built for Celebration
For years, Tammy and Sam’s waterfront property served as a gathering place for family and friends—hosting everything from small private parties and cookouts to intimate weddings, holiday gatherings, and countless celebrations in between. The natural beauty of the land, paired with the peaceful White Oak River setting, quickly made it a favorite place to come together and enjoy life’s most meaningful moments.
As the property became home to more and more cherished memories, Tammy and Sam felt inspired to share that experience with others. They wanted couples, families, and guests to feel the same sense of warmth, joy, and connection that their own friends and family had felt on the land for years. That desire to open the space to the community marked the beginning of what would eventually become Farm 58 Wedding and Event Venue.
Hospitality at the Heart of Everything We Do
Before the venue was ever built, the team who now operates Farm 58 were already part of the gatherings, weddings, and celebrations that took place on the property. Tammy and Sam, along with Polly and Taylor, played meaningful roles in those early events long before Farm 58 became a business. That firsthand experience has helped shaped the foundation of what Farm 58 is today and the level of service that's provided to its clients.
While Tammy and Sam now focus on ownership and caring for the property, Polly and Taylor lead the day-to-day operations with years of practical, real-world experience. They’ve seen what works well, what doesn’t, and how to adapt plans to create the best possible experience for each couple and their wedding, and each client and their event. Polly and Taylor's insight, honesty, and transparency help clients make informed decisions—whether it’s choosing a ceremony location, planning a timeline, or navigating the flow of the day.
What truly sets us apart is the genuine care we have for every person who steps onto the property. Our team is dedicated to providing a first-class experience marked by warmth, hospitality, and attention to detail. We strive to make every guest feel welcome, every celebration feel supported, and every moment feel special.
Where We Are Today
While weddings remain at the heart of our spring and fall seasons, Farm 58 has continued to grow and evolve over the years. What began as a space for intimate gatherings has expanded into a venue that now hosts private events, corporate meetings, fundraisers, fishing tournaments, and a wide variety of celebrations throughout the year.
As we move into our next chapter, we’re excited to welcome more public and recurring events to the property—including workout and yoga classes, wellness sessions, art workshops, specialty dinners, daytime gatherings, and beer and wine festivals. Our hope is to create opportunities for families, locals, and visitors to enjoy the property in new and meaningful ways.
At its core, Farm 58 aims to offer a safe, family-friendly, and memorable experience for everyone who visits. We want people to feel the same sense of enjoyment and connection that inspired the venue’s beginnings, and we’re committed to opening the property in ways that allow more people to experience everything it has to offer.
